Eleuthero: This adaptogen has been part of the herbal repertoire in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for thousands of years. An energetically warming botanical, eleuthero root is employed in TCM to invigorate Qi, strengthen and nourish the spleen and kidney, and balance vital energy. It was also used in Korean and Russian folk medicine, not only for increasing stamina but for promoting overall health.

Astragalus: An herb with a long history of use in TCM as well as in broader Asian culture, astragalus root is also known as Huang Qi in Chinese. It is considered one of the fundamental herbs in TCM. Astragalus supports immune health to help you stay feeling your best and supports the body’s immune defenses to stay feeling healthy.* Astragalus is used in TCM as an adaptogen to increase energy and resistance to stress.*

Ashwagandha: Withania somnifera has been used in Ayurveda for millennia and continues to be held in very high regard, today. Although all parts of the plant are thought to hold beneficial properties, the root is most often referenced in herbalism books and is considered an overall tonic and adaptogen. Ashwagandha is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine as an adaptogen and a nervine to help cope with stress.*

Reishi: In traditional and contemporary Chinese medicine reishi is admired as a tonic for benefitting vital energy of “Qi”. The fruiting body has a multitude of constituents, most notably polysaccharides called beta-glucans and triterpenes. Spilanthes: This herb is utilized in multiple healing traditions including Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Ayurveda, and western folk herbalism. In TCM, spilanthes is considered energetically stimulating and warming and is employed to disperse stagnant energies.
