Helichrysum hydrosol smells much like a diluted version of its essential oil counterpart. It has a dry green floral aroma, with a slightly sweet and earthy back notes. Some consider it to be an acquired scent. If you enjoy the aroma of helichrysum essential oil, you will appreciate this lovely hydrosol. The similarities with the essential oil make it a cost-effective alternative to incorporating the botanical powers of this flower into skin care formulations and water-based perfume blends.
Helichrysum may sometimes be found on the market as Immortelle or everlasting. Energetically, helichrysum is both uplifting and grounding and has a strong association for comforting emotional heartache. Topically, it is popular in formulas for mature skin.
Our helichrysum hydrosol is produced via water-steam distillation of the dried flowering tops Helichrysum italicum. Suitable for cosmetic use.
